Chapter 17. History Repeats Itself?

In the principality of Paso Caol. Inside the fortress that showed the marks of combat on its walls, one of King Moal's Generals appeared to interrupt the interaction between Prince Dorba and Leiza's group. Fyrod was an old acquaintance who was leading the invading troops that were sent to finish off the Prince. He went alone into the fort because he anticipated that he could find him there. -I know you very well, Dorba, you are always thinking how to deceive the enemy. The changes of construction on this mount caught my attention immediately. I see you have visitors... is there any relationship between you and the girl who possesses the blue Goan? -That's none of your business, traitor! Don't interfere in matters that do not concern you... But I'm glad you came here, I'll finally be able to avenge what you did to Rioya. -We'll fight all you want, Dorba. However, I'm going to need to bring that girl with me. Her power is indispensable for the future. If w

Chapter 16. A Day of Reencounters.

In the principality of Paso Caol. Prince Dorba was anxiously awaiting the arrival of the invading army, because his spies informed him that Fyrod was coming among the enemy troops and he believed that at last he would be able to avenge the death of his friend Rioya. With complete confidence, he told the Captain of his forces the current state of the situation. -War is inevitable, there will be no more simulation. Both Moal and I have revealed our intentions. Now it is time for one of us to drop dead. Let's give a proper start to this dispute by slaughtering these invading soldiers. Dorba predicted months ago that a clash with King Moal was going to happen sooner or later because both had been playing a dynamic of mutual suspicion and intrigue for some time. As the final act, Moal invited him to his birthday party in Valle Roble because he wanted to take him out of the principality to investigate if the legendary red relic was located in the palace of Paso Caol. But he did not expec

Chapter 15. The Hero's Perdition.

A few years back in time. When Bopo and Gaena welcomed Prince Dorba back in Paso Caol, it was difficult for them to recognize him. His appearance was the same as always, but his behavior was far from usual. There was no sense of humility and empathy, which characterized him so much. Instead, there was a pedantic man with an irritable character who refused to listen advice even from the woman he loved. It was not necessary for him to give them a mission report, Bopo knew immediately that the assignment was going well, because he could feel that there was much more Goan in him. Bopo and Gaena tried to learn the ins and outs of the journey, but it was difficult to talk to Dorba, because every answer was always condescending and abrupt. Both were very surprised with this new attitude of the Prince, since he was not a person who would allow his judgment to be clouded by having more power. Gaena thought that maybe that behaviour would dissipate the next day, so she attempted to overlook it.
